Location: The Shallows
Water Temperature: 15.5

Depth: 9.5 m

Visibility: 1 m

Number of Sharks: First Trip (6 Sharks) – Second Trip (8 Sharks)

Conditions: 2-6 knt S wind, low swell, calm conditions, low visisibility

The first trip of the day anchored early to find the glorious clear waters of the last week had turned into thick green murky waters. However, this did not deter the sharks and a total of six white sharks were seen throughout the trip. Mark the shark was around first, followed by a shark with one of our acoustic tags attached in order for us to be able to track his movements within the bay. Although the water was green, the sharks still came close enough to our cage for the guests to view the sharks from underwater briefly. Viewing from the boat was good with nice action at the bait line. The second trip had 2 sharks around within the first 10 minutes of anchoring, and we were also visited by two large male white sharks of approximately 4 m in length. With a total of 8 white sharks at the cage, it was a good day on the water, even if it wasnt so blue today.
