Trip 1
It was a beautiful morning to be out on the water with the sunrise a stunning sight over the bay. This morning’s first group to join us was some of our favourite Italians, a research/student group headed by Dr Primo Micarelli. The trip started off well with sharks around not too long after we arrived. We were lucky enough to see some of our current favourites including three of our juvenile females in the bay at the moment “Sarko”, “3Bird” and “Taryn-It-Up”. The activity was fantastic for the first two hours of the trip before it slowed down terribly for the next hour and a half. However the last hour and a half saw a new, very active juvenile White shark appear.

Trip 2
The second trip of the day launched and we had our first shark shortly after arriving back on anchor. This first sharks was none other than “3Bird” back again for a visit. She did not join us for the entire trip but showed up every now and again. We also had “Sarko” join us for a little while as well and two large females that continued to circle around and up and down our scent trail yet had little interest in investigating any closer.

Trip 3
The third and final trip of the day saw sharks after only a 10 minute wait with both the juvenile females “3Bird” and “Sarko” decided to show up making this day a three out of three for the feisty little females. This trip also saw a large female just under 4.0m come cruising out of the murky depths showing our guests the impressive size these animals get too and this one had not even reached full growth yet.

A beautiful, exciting day from sunrise to sunset.
