Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingrays, Cape fur seals + Southern right whales
Summary: We set off from Kleinbaai harbor with a steady east wind, and it wasn’t long before our divers suited up and the first Bronze whaler sharks appeared, signaling the start of an incredible experience! We had some massive females today, along with active juveniles throughout the trip. A playful Cape fur seal kept us entertained, and we even encountered one of the largest species of saltwater stingrays—the Short-tail stingray! On the way back to the harbor, we were fortunate enough to spot a few Southern right whales as well. A big thank you to all the divers who joined us today!
