Conditions:  Sunny weather with a bit of wind picking up in the afternoon

Our divers were up nice and early to see some sharks this morning! And we headed straight to a nice spot in the shallows, where we had copper sharks around us within minutes. While activity was a bit slow to start off with, it soon picked up as the sun climbed higher in the sky! Our first group of divers got some very close passes by the cage from several stunning copper sharks. We spotted a second copper shark with a missing dorsal fin on this trip as well which seems rather strange! We will continue to investigate this! The remaining divers got some stunning activity as the trip continued, with some more eager divers going in the cage twice! With the water as it is at the moment it isn’t too chilly, and the sharks are of course totally worth it!

For our second trip we once again headed back to our dive site, and our divers quickly jumped into their wetsuits. It wasn’t long before the copper sharks were back, and our divers were thrilled by the beauty of these animals. These animals cruise around at about 2.5 km/h. Later a Cape fur seal passed by our cage, and briefly entertained our divers. The day remained absolutely beautiful, and the sharks made the day a success.
