It was a lovely morning as we left the harbour and headed to our anchor site at the shallows. When we arrived at the site, it wasn’t long before the first copper sharks approached our boat. We got our guests into the cage and they were witness to some beautiful passes. A short-tailed stingray came around for a visit as well and gave our divers some curious glances. As always we had a load of seagulls hanging around the boat, eager for some quick nibbles of the chum. Luckily towards the end of the trip the 2.5m female great white that has been hanging around in the area came by to see what was happening. Our divers that were in the cage were blessed with some beautiful views of this animal.

For our second trip it was straight back to the shallows in search of sharks. We were lucky as the copper sharks showed up in force very quickly and were very consistent in their activity through the trip. We got our first cage in the water and they got very up close and personal with these wonderful sharks. They even demonstrated some of their schooling behaviour a little distance off of the cage which was incredible to witness. With the addition of a short tailed sting ray cruising gracefully around the cage, we had an excellent afternoon on the water.
