Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingrays, Cape fur seals, Indian Ocean humpback dolphins + Storm petrels
Summary: The day started with a smooth launch from Kleinbaai Harbour with sunny skies and low swell. Upon arriving at the dive site, the Bronze whaler sharks were quick to arrive and stayed with us for the full trip duration. A couple Short-tail stingrays also made an appearance through the trip impressing guests with their sheer size! A coastal drive from the dive site presented us with a sighting of the endangered Indian Ocean humpback dolphins, acrobatically taking advantage of fish in the shallows. With extra time, we headed to Shark Alley, where the Cape fur seal colony on Geyser Rock was teeming with young pups, playfully finding their confidence in the water. A glorious day on the water with an abundance of wildlife, thank you to everyone who joined!
