Some pretty impressive swells were still around from the bad weather day yesterday meaning that we launched a little on the later side today, with one afternoon trip planned. We headed out to the Island with our group and found a good spot to anchor in the mouth of the Alley. We had a little wait for the sharks today and once they turned up they were playing shy, coming up quickly and disappearing just as quickly. Most of our individuals today were around the 3.0m mark or under however we did have a large fishy shaped shadow cruise by under the cage which was estimated at close to 4.0m, if only it came up to say hello! We also had a look at the Cape fur seals happily basking in the last sunshine of the day on Geyser Rock and had numerous bird sightings, with the afternoon a perfect time to spot the birds coming and going from Dyer Island. A big thank you to all those that joined us out on the water today…
