Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Indian Ocean humpback dolphins + Cape Gannet
Summary: A great start to a day with earlier launches for our trips. Departing Kleinbaai Harbour, lower swell and minimal wind made for a quick transfer to the dive site in the shallows of our bay. Wetsuits were quickly put on, with divers ready to join the Bronze whaler sharks who welcomed us shortly after dropping anchor. The shark activity was nothing short of thrilling, with fast paced individuals making close passes in front of the cage giving divers a front row seat to these incredible animals! The activity was consistent through the morning and, allowing all divers an unforgettable time. The first we also were able to catch a glance of the Indian Ocean humpback dolphins who were active further around the vessel. Overall both our trips today were phenomenal, with not only great sighting of Bronze whaler sharks and a single Bottlenose dolphin in the distance, but also a juvenile Cape Gannet diving, and hunting mullets right in front of the cage!, a successful day of shark cage diving, thank you to all who joined and happy Easter!
