It’s definitely a beautiful day to go shark cage diving, with a calm ocean and no wind. Just after dropping the anchor we were surrounded by two white sharks. We are really lucky these days to see them just after a few minutes. One of the first few shark we got to see was ‘Rosie’ a 4.2 meter female which is in our bay since a few weeks already. Later on ‘Mini Rosie’ also came closer and had a look at the divers in the cage. After great shark activity and towards the end of the trip we were lucky to see one of our tagged white sharks. It’s a little male, we always happy to see that the tagged individuals are well. In total we encountered twelve different individuals during the trip.
Trip two was spectacular with calm seas and some great shark activity. ‘Cutfin’ a wonderful small male shark stole the show and made some awesome passes close by the cage with his mouth open for the divers to see! We saw a variety of sizes from young to larger sharks. ‘Big Rosie’ being the largest at 4.5m.
