Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose sevengill shark + Cape fur seals
Trip Summary: After a day on land due to higher wind and swell, we departed from Kleinbaai harbour towards the dive site in shallower waters. Divers were assigned their wetsuits once on anchor, with the Bronze whaler sharks offering a warm welcome back. The Bronze whaler activity was consistent through both trips, with improved visibility offering intimate sightings of the impressive sharks. The first trip also caught a glimpse of the prehistoric Broadnose sevengill, otherwise nicknamed the cowshark. As with most days, our trip is never complete without a visit from the curious and playful Cape fur seals. Thank you to everyone who joined us today, it was a pleasure having you all on board!
