We headed to our dive site under the cover of a thick layer of clouds. The sea was flat however, and we made good time getting to The Shallows. Once we arrived our divers climbed into their wetsuits, and the crew placed the cage into the water. Very soon the first Copper sharks arrived and divers had a fantastic time seeing the sharks underwater. A brief drizzle of rain passed over us, but soon the clouds cleared and our guests saw the sharks in the beautiful sunlight. Towards the end of the trip we visited Dyer Island and Geyser Rock, showing our guests the Cape fur seals that reside there. We finished the trip with back on shore with some great vegetable soup, and homemade bread.

For our second trip we headed back to the shallows and we had sharks instantly around the cage, so our divers hopped into their suits and then into the cage. With the warmer water we were expereincimg today, it seemed the copper sharks were enjoying. The activity today was fantastic and all of or divers got up close and personal with the sharks today. We also had a suprise visit from a short tailed stingray towards the end of the trip which is something we haven’t witnessed in a while. These graceful rays glide through the water, and our divers got to witness their beauty under the water today. With a great trip with the sharks coming to a close, we headed over to the islands to check out the seals!
