As we headed into the new year, today we headed out on a slightly choppy sea. We arrived at our dive site and our guests jumped into their wetsuits. We were all happy to see the Copper sharks had made it into the new year as well. Our divers climbed into the cage, and the shrieks of joy erupted from the cage as the sharks passed incredibly close to our guests. A short-tailed stingray briefly passed the cage as well. Our guests had an amazing time on the boat, but soon we headed back to shore, where our guests finished off their trip with some nice hot soup and homemade bread.

We started our second trip with a fun ride on a choppy sea. Everyone was excited and was having fun. While the crew were picking up the cage our divers quickly geared up and were ready to get sharky. The sharks came to the cage in no time and our guests jumped in the water. We had some really nice copper shark activity with many of them coming up really close and some even sticking their curious noses inside. Although it was quite windy and rocky it did not stop our divers to enjoy every bit of an amazing shark cage diving experience. Once everyone had their chance in the cage we headed back to the harbour to pick up our next group.

And once again Slashfin was ready to take us to our dive location to see some beautiful sharks. As it usually happens bronzies did not make us wait and appeared around the boat as soon as we started chumming at the back of the boat. We had a couple of guests who were scared to do it at first but as soon as they saw their first shark underwater the excitement took over. Everyone had a great time at the cage and even got to see a stunning Short Tailed stingray passing by the cage a few times. Once we were done and picked up our cage back on the boat we headed back to the harbour.
