Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Bryde’s whale, Common dolphins, African penguins, Cape fur seals, Short-tail stingray + Cape gannets
Summary: Today was nothing short of incredible! An overcast afternoon with calm seas, we departed Kleinbaai harbour to be met with a plethora of marine life! Active bait balls attracted multiple species, including the Bryde’s whale, African penguins, Cape fur seals and the playful Common dolphins amongst diving Cape gannets. The activity made the drive to our dive site unforgettable, all before our main attraction! At the die site, mature Bronze whaler sharks were active through the entirety of the trip, with divers braving cooler waters to have an up close and personal interaction with these impressive sharks. A brief sighting of a Short-tail stingray rounded off our sightings list for the day. Thank you to all who joined us, it was an absolute pleasure sharing these wildlife sightings with you all!
