Early starters get sunrises and sharks! This morning we headed out into a beautiful sunrise and awesome flat seas. We anchored up and got the cage in the water and waited for our sharks to show up! It was a little bit of a wait this morning, and after moving anchor we got ourselves a tiny great white shark! At 1.8m this little female was a joy to view this morning glide cage all inquisitive and what not! Our cage divers patience was rewarded two fold when Clampy showed up and gave us some nice activity around Slashfin! Activity dipped a little after Clampy disappeared, but the little white shark came in and gave us some nice passes for the final few cages! With the tide low in Kleinbaai today we ventured round to Gansbaai side to drop off our passengers and pick up the next trip! With some nice views of Danger Point coming back round to our dive site for our second trip we picked up the cage and got sharky pretty quick on this trip! Back around Danger Point and the second trip was back on anchor within 30 minutes. We had our first shark sighting very quickly with one of the smallest sharks currently in the bay coming by for a visit before the big sharks came to play. We also had a visit from one of the males in the bay currently as well as two larger females. The third and final trip got off to a great start with yet again the small juvenile appearing and whilst this trip experienced six different sharks throughout the afternoon the Whites were slow to come and did not stick around too long, the Short-tailed stingrays on the other hand were more than happy to continuously pop up throughout the trip.
