Conditions: Stunning sunshine and calm seas

We launched into glorious sunshine this morning as we headed out to the shallows. As we approached we got our divers geared up and ready to get sharky. We got a very brief sighting of a great white pretty early on in this trip which was the 2.8m male. He apparently didn’t want to show off to our guests this morning. We tried a different spot after we struggled for a shark, and while the cape fur seal cheekily played with our divers, unfortunately we weren’t able to get a white shark. However we did get to see a bronze whaler which gave us some nice close passes, something we haven’t really seen much of in a while. As we approached the end of the trip we headed over to see the seals and check out what was going on in shark alley, and on our way back into the harbour, we came across a stunning southern right whale mother calf pair. So while we struggled with our white sharks today it wasn’t a bad day to be out on the water surrounded by some stunning wildlife.
