Another beautiful day on the ocean starting with a stunning sunrise and a very large shark. We seem to have a couple of these in the bay, all around 4m in length which is just shorter than the cage.

The sharks were a little slower today bit we still managed to have some nice sightings, especially with our visibility clearing up a bit.

We got to see the large shark with the bent up pectoral fin again and he really does look like he’s been through the wars recently. Luckily, these wounds heal relatively quickly and we are looking forward to watching this happen.

On the second trip, we managed to tag another 2.5m male and we had a pod of bottlenose dolphins come past which was a really special sight.

Both trips featured a Short Tailed Sting Say or two which came up from the depths to investigate the bait.
