Summary: What better way to kick start 2026 than in the company of multiple sharks! Our first trips for the year launched from Kleinbaai Harbour, with very little swell and calm winds, topped off with sunshine. Arriving a the dive site, all divers were soon dressed in their wetsuits and ready to jump into the cage, where the Bronze whaler sharks were actively swimming, showing off their cooperative predation techniques. The sharks were active throughout the day, offering all guests a close interaction with these animals! The first trip of the day were also extremely lucky to spot a pair of critically endangered African penguins in the water, with active Cape fur seals spotted at the dive site, playfully moving and even predating on fish. Thank you to everyone who chose to start their year with us, it was great having you on board!
