Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Broadnose sevengill, Cape fur seals, Common dolphin

Trip Summary: Blue skies, no wind or swell, the perfect conditions for an afternoon on the water. As well as great weather, clients were also blessed with absolute amazing sightings. Starting the trip off from Kleinbaai harbour, we didn’t have to wait long before the first sightings, a group of approximately 50 common dolphins. Once at the dive site, the Bronze whaler sharks were the first to arrive, a daily favorite for us in Gansbaai, spoiling clients with higher numbers and up close sightings. Additionally, a large Broadnose sevengill arrived on the bait line, a prehistoric species that upped the shark count for the day. Finally, the impressively sized Short-tail stingray made a turn, a species that spends most of their time in the benthic environment of our sandy bay. A successful day for clients and crew alike, thank you to everyone who joined us on board!
