Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose sevengill shark + Cape fur seals

Summary: A successful trip for those onboard Slashfin today, with sunshine and reduced wind offering a calm ride towards our dive site. As we arrived on anchor, guests promptly changed into their wetsuits, ready to jump into the cage at the first sighting of a shark. The first visitor was a Bronze whaler shark, actively pursuing the bait line and allowing guests to fully witness the agility of the shark. A second shark species also appeared, the Broadnose sevengill, offering an adrenaline fueled experience for divers in the cage. For the 2nd trip of the day we also got lucky to encounter the same Bronze whaler shark for a few moments, coming close to the cage! This was topped off by a cheeky Cape fur seal predating around the boat for the whole trip! Thanks to all our guests for joining us this sunny August day at sea!
