After rolling over the waves this morning, it turned into an amazing trip out to sea. There was a bit of a swell out today, so our divers climbed into their wetsuits on land, but this did not deter us as we headed out to sea. We had barely arrived when the first Copper sharks arrived. Our divers quickly went into the cage and witnessed the sharks coming by again and again. Not too much later a small white shark reared her head up. She was soon followed by Clubtail, who really showed off for our divers, before a whopping 5m white shark reared her head around and really gave our divers in the cage a show. The sighting of a short-tailed stingray finished off the trip, before we made our way back to shore.

Our second trip headed straight back to the shallows where we got copper sharks very quickly on this trip! So we got our divers geared up and our first group took the plunge and headed into the cage. We had stunning actiivty throughout this trip with all of our divers getting face to face with these stunning sharks. Towards the end of the trip we even got some cool passes from an awesome short tailed stingray. While we worked hard on this trip to find a great white, unfortunately it didn’t seem like it was meant to be… But the copper sharks kept us on our toes through this trip and it was another excellent day at sea!
