We had some bumpy but workable conditions out there today with the whole bay and sharks to ourselves! Both trips had little to no waiting time for the sharks to arrive with the small guys coming in first before the big ones spooked them away. We see this often as size does appear to dominate with the Great Whites and the smaller individual will disappear with the arrival of a larger shark. However one juvenile that stuck with us all day and has been seen around our boat for close to a week now is a small male by the name of “Jacob”. With three distinctive marks in front of his dorsal fin and other minor marks as well as his playful and active personality we can recognise this shark very easily and are always happy to spot him near! The largest shark of the day came in at 4.2m with a few sharks spotted throughout the day reaching lengths 4.0m and above. A wonderful day to ride some waves and watch the Great Whites…
