We had an early start this morning. Shortly after arrived at the dive site the sun came up and was shining for us throughout the whole trip. We also had shark around our vessel Slashfin after a few minutes of waiting, we are once lucky again. We also had a small Storm petrel around our boat, they are the smallest of all seabirds and strict pelagic. So we were fortunate to see one so close in the bay. The shark activity has been good throughout the whole trip, but towards the end ‘Mini Rosie’ and a male with a bend dorsal fin decided to be a little more active. We spotted in total twelve different individuals with the biggest around four meter. On our way back we were cruising along the coastline and were lucky to spot some Humpback dolphins.

Another stunning trip with sharks immediately! The first shark to arrive was ‘Cutfin’ who displayed the same relaxed behaviour as previous trips- eye balling the divers in the cage! One guest asked ’11 sharks… is that good?” I answered “One white shark is more than good given their vulnerable status and fact that they migrate extroadinary distances into serious areas of threat in the Indian Ocean within a year!”  We must never lose sight of the fact that we are incredibly priviliged to see these white shark numbers on our trips! All divers got a chance to go into the cage again, an amazing day!
