Shark Log – Day 2 – The Shallows – Slashfin has entered into a second day of spectacular White Shark sightings in Joubertsdam.

This morning we went to sea in the midst of a warm spell (around 20°C!!!), which made our journey out to the shallows very pleasant…

“Guess who’s back, back again, the White Sharks are back, tell a Friend!!”

We were in for an early treat this morning as we left the harbour and stumbled across a lone Humpback Dolphin, cruising in the shallows…

After a calm and enjoyable ride out to the Geldsteen this morning…

Leaving the harbour we were greeted by with a misty morning and excellent sea conditions…..

The fog cleared and sharks appeared…….

This morning we were escorted by a Sub Antarctic skua to our dive site…

Today we launched our vessel Slashfin just after sunrise and were heading towards the ‘Shallows’ …

The morning started off with a light drizzle, but that didn’t affect our shark sightings at all…
