Apart from the sharks we saw a short-tail stingray and on our way back we were very fortunate to spot some Common dolphins…

The start of another month, we had a fantastic April with some jaw-some activity and impressive sized sharks showing up, its no wonder we head into May wondering what this new month would hold…

As soon as the first shark showed up everyone got excited and moved to the side of the boat where the cage was attached as this is where we see most of the action happening. We ended up seeing 4 different sharks on our first trip including Pieter! (Not our skipper)…

Good weather, a flat sea, great visibility and lots of sharks. What else could we have wished for?

On our way to Joubertsdam we spotted a pod of Common dolphins so we moved a little bit closer. The dolphins swam up to the boat and seemed to enjoy the waves that it created.

Well what can we say about today…there was excitement from beginning to end with some great activity and wild life out and around the bay…

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE In 2014 we met Dr. Primo Micarelli and his group of scientists from the “Centro Studi Squali” (Study Centre of Sharks) situated in Massa Marittima, Tuscany, Italy. They once again joined the Marine Dynamics crew in Kleinbaai for a week long study expedition on Great White Sharks…

The fog has returned! This morning we were greeted by the great unknown as the bay was covered yet again in a thick blanket of white, setting the ominous scene for our first trips visitors…

After Slashfin was taken out this morning for an Eco trip we started boarding for a shark cage diving trip and people started asking where our cage was. They were glad to hear that we didn’t forget it but that it was dropped at Joubertsdam after the Eco trip that morning…

A lovely morning out on the water with sharks around the boat within ten minutes and what a start to the trip with the first four sharks being over 4.0m…
