Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler shark, Broadnose sevengill, Cape fur seal & Indian Ocean Humpback dolphin
Summary: A rainy day on the water, however shark species were not deterred and neither were our guests! Shortly after arriving on anchor, guests were soon in the cage surrounded by multiple Bronze whaler sharks of all sizes! Activity was fantastic and consistent throughout the entire trip, with an additional shark species, the Broadnose sevengill, making an appearance! To truly show off the diversity of Gansbaai, guests were able to spot an endemic Cape fur seal and even a lone Indian Ocean Humpback dolphin on the journey back to the harbour. To everyone who joined us today, thank you for your great sense of adventure! We hope you enjoyed your trip as much as we did!
