Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks + African Penguins
Trip Summary: Our early risers on the first trip were rewarded with calm conditions, clear waters and fantastic Bronze whaler activity! On anchor, we found ourselves in the presence of Bronze whaler sharks shortly after arriving, with guests being able to view individuals of varying sizes. On the smooth journey out we were also lucky to spot some African penguins who were curious enough to come close to the boat, allowing guests a great view of these endangered birds. To everyone who joined us today, thank you and we hope you had a great time!
