Sightings: Bronze whalers, Cape Fur seals + Short-tail stingrays

Trip 1.


A golden start to the day with the Bronze whaler sharks appearing soon after we had anchored.


An up-close and personal experience of sharks from the safety of the cage.


The activity was continuous throughout the morning with multiple individuals being seen.


This male Bronze whaler shark was the stand-out encounter for our first trip.


A fantastic trip filled with shark sightings. Thank you to our guests for joining us this morning.

Trip 2.


The nictitating membrane in all its glory! This is a protective membrane that keeps the eye safe from damage.


The second trip of the day saw a little Cape fur seal amongst the sharks.


We were lucky enough to experience what we like to call "Triple S Diving" which includes the sighting of these three - sharks, seals and stingrays!


The sunshine allowed our guests to really appreciated the bronzed dorsal surface of this species of shark.


Such great activity that it was hard to say which way to look as the sharks crisscrossed in front of us.
