Location: Gansbaai, South Africa
Dive site: Joubertsdam
Water temp: Cold
Visibility: Moderate
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal, Cape gannet, African Penguin + Broadnose Sevengill shark
Summary: We departed from Kleinbaai Harbor on a beautiful day with clear weather. Subantarctic Skuas followed us to the anchor site, bringing smiles to our guests' faces. We had to wait a few minutes before the first Bronze Whaler shark arrived, but our guests were able to enjoy close encounters throughout the trip. On our way back to the harbor, we came across a beautiful Cape Gannet resting, and also saw a single African Penguin. We want to thank all our divers and spectators for joining us today! For the second trip of the day, the Bronze Whaler sharks were already waiting for us! We enjoyed amazing shark activity and also spotted a beautiful Broadnose Sevengill shark! The entire Marine Dynamics team thanks all our guests!
