Calm seas are always a pleasant sight! We had some beautiful weather conditions with very little wind and initial cloud cover which gave way to some sunny conditions! Two very big sharks were present, with the one being 4 meters- and the other 4.3 meters in length! We spotted four out of the five “Marine Big Five”, we only missed some dolphins.

Come rain or shine, Marine Dynamics will deliver! Despite the wet conditions at sea today, we had some terrific shark activity and some big sharks as well. “Evil Fin”, named so due to her ‘friendly’ appearance and her size, made an appearance. This shark is around the 4 meter marker and made two very close passes by the cage to everyone’s amazement. The smaller sharks put on a great performance with one shark completely leaping out from the water in hot pursuit of our bait line. Our sister company “Dyer Island Cruises” arrived at the perfect time to witness this feat. Even the family from Switzerland was having a good time on the top deck, shark cage diving is truly for the whole family. I love the group photo at the end…

We did have some overcast and chilly conditions with the South Easter making its presence known. This however did not deter our shark activity, nor did it deter the whale action in the area! It was tremendous to see some of these beautiful animals flying around all over the place.

We were lucky to sight 10 great whites ranging in size from a couple of tiny ones around 2 meters in length to some real giants around the 4.5m mark. Sharks were in a feisty mood, often the first you saw of them were breaches at the bait which made for some excellent photo opportunities for those on the top deck!

What a day! We were lucky enough to spot the “Marine Big Five” today and not just a glimpse either! We had an abundance of sharks, whales, seals, dolphins and penguins at sea today which made this a very special shark cage diving experience for all on board…

Not one But two, that’s the number of successful trips we had for today! The weather was tremendous with beautiful sunny and warm conditions; the sharks were also incredible once again!…

Some rainy and wet conditions proved to be just what we needed to get the sharks jumping for joy! The rain did make it tricky to take photos, but as you can see it is definitely possible to get them…

What an epic day! Not only did we see 11 sharks today, but we also saw 5 Southern Right Whales (3 adults and two calves). One of the whale calves was a brindle as well. This was very special to see for everyone on board, including the crew and myself! We had some big jumps with the sharks again today which provided some thrilling moments…

You would not believe what we saw today! The sharks were spending more time outside of the water than they were spending inside of the water. The photos speak for themselves! An added bonus was the fact that we had two trips today and both had the same massive sharks making several passes by the cage…

A dual trip today with both sharks and whales to see! We were very much in luck to spot two adult Southern Right Whales outside the harbour and then another two, a mother and her calf, on our way to Dyer Island after our shark trip…
