Marine Dynamics Blog

Day: October 8, 2012

We did have some overcast and chilly conditions with the South Easter making its presence known. This however did not deter our shark activity, nor did it deter the whale action in the area! It was tremendous to see some of these beautiful animals flying around all over the place.

We were lucky to sight 10 great whites ranging in size from a couple of tiny ones around 2 meters in length to some real giants around the 4.5m mark. Sharks were in a feisty mood, often the first you saw of them were breaches at the bait which made for some excellent photo opportunities for those on the top deck!
