Day: February 27, 2012

Hahaha Wow! We had eleven sharks around the boat today and what was even more fantastic was the fact that about 4 of the sharks were in the 4m range! These were some of the biggest sharks that I have seen in a while! It is always great when people see a 2m great white shark for the first time and they cannot believe how big it is! It is even better when they see a 4m shark directly thereafter and they are completely speechless. Our resident sting ray also paid us a visit today and this time he really went for the bait! The guests couldn’t believe that a ray could get that big! The water temperature was eventually the cherry on the cake, at 21.2 ‘C it was almost like a “jacuzzi”! A great day today…

Today we had both young love on board as well as young sharks in the water! I must be a romantic at heart, but nothing says ‘I love you’ like taking your partner on a shark cage diving trip! We had some aerial activity from these fantastic great whites once again, as well as some big splashes! The weather was also amazing today, providing adequate opportunity for everyone to get that golden brown complexion! Amazing trip on a calm Sunday morning!
