Conditions: Overcast with light rain and choppy waters
We headed out of the harbour this morning after two days off, with the clouds threatening to open up and pour down, thank fully this didn’t happen and our first trip only experienced some light rain towards the end of the tour. These weather conditions did nothing to dampen our sharks for the day and many of our divers not only experienced shark cage diving but also “stingray cage diving”, with some curious Short-Tailed Stingrays coming close enough to those in the cage to see them on the surface and under the water. Having had those two days off due to bad water and weather conditions we were unsure how the shark activity would be, however whilst the visibility made it a challenge to view the sharks, those that we did see came up very close to the cage and we had a great view from onboard Slashfin. Good to be back on the water…
