VIP Arrival

Welcome briefing, refreshments, gear fitting

Upon arrival you will be served a continental breakfast or hot lunch while checking-in for your experience. We then conduct a detailed safety briefing, while our team organises your gear and equipment, including a bag with your wetsuit and booties as well as a life-jacket and weather-proof jacket

Set Sail to Shark Alley

Depart in comfort aboard your private vessel

Once you have boarded the vessel, our experienced skipper will ensure you are prepared for the conditions on the day. After setting out from the harbour, guided by our knowledgeable and experienced team, look out for other marine life such as whales, dolphins and penguins along the way

Immersive Encounter

Enter the cage and experience sharks up close

As the sharks begin to arrive our team will assist you in getting into the cage that is set alongside the boat. Dip below the surface and watch as the sharks cruise by. From the deck you can witness all the action in the water below while enjoying hot chocolate and snacks. Our onboard marine biologist is ready to help you discover and learn more about these magnificent creatures

Enjoy a safe and scenic trip on one of our dedicated buses with the best drivers in the industry. We collect from Cape Town central for the 2.5-hour drive to Gansbaai. We collect from Hermanus central with approximately a 45-minute drive to Gansbaai. We offer free Wi-Fi, water and mints on board.

Helicopter or plane

Price

Arrive in style via a helicopter transfer or plane ride from Cape Town (weather dependant). The hour flight takes you over mountain ranges, rolling valleys and the ocean. If you are lucky, you might even be able to spot a whale from above. Guests depart from the V&A Waterfront. Our team will collect you from the Gansbaai landing zone, or airstrip, just 10 to 15 minutes away. Contact us for helicopter or plane transfer rates!
