Sightings: Bronze whalers, Cape fur seal, Short-tail stingray + Southern right whale

Trip 1.


A great start to the day with the Bronze whaler sharks appearing quickly for our guests.


This Short-tail stingray also joined the mix of sightings for the morning.


The Bronze whaler activity was consistent with viewing from start to finish.


Whilst a little cold on and in the sea today our guests were brave and took the plunge with smiles on their faces.


Not to be left out a Cape Fur seal was also seen frolicking around the boat most of the trip.


Close encounters were a theme of the trip with our divers experiencing fantastic views in the water.


A surprise addition to the trip on the way back to the harbour as two Southern right mother-calf pairs were seen

Trip 2.


Say ahhhhh to a fantastic start to our second trip of the day.


Upclose and personal. If you look closely at the snout you will see the ampullae of lorenzini (electrorecptors)


This little Cape fur seal had a successful lunch hunt. Seen here enjoying his catch!
