Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks & Cape fur seal

Summary: A day of blue skies and favourable conditions for guests and crew on board Slashfin today! The Bronze whaler sharks were soon arriving in front of the cage, and divers shortly joined them in the water, and on the boat. The signature copper coloration of the dorsal side could be seen beautifully with the sunshine, allowing guests to see the namesake of this shark species. We had numerous individuals around throughout the whole trip! Also a playful Cape fur seal joined around keeping us all entertained! Thanks to everyone for joining us today!
