Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Broadnose Sevengill sharks, Bronze whaler shark, African penguins + Common dolphins

Summary: An exhilarating day on the water! Despite some swell, clients were eager to head out, swiftly changing into wetsuits. A Bronze whaler shark was the first to provide a warm welcome, a great sighting after not seeing them for a couple days. Next came 2 Broadnose sevengill sharks, showing off on the bait lines and providing amazing interactions for the clients. Additionally, we were able to sight a raft of the endangered African penguins feeding on a large bait ball below the surface. Thank you to everyone who joined us on today’s adventure, it was a pleasure sharing these sightings with you!
