Location: Joubertsdam

Water Temperature: 15.6°C

Depth: 7.5m

Visibility: 1m

Conditions: Cloudy to start and the rain held off for the trip gentle swell

We launched a little later to avoid the rain today and it paid off! We anchored up in the shallows today and we had copper sharks pretty quickly. The first cage got some excellent activity and everyone managed to see the sharks from the boat today. Unfortunately the activity for the rest of the trip tailed off a little, but we still had fun out on the water, where we played a bit of shark cage quiz! We learned a great deal about the sharks and the area and even got a quick sighting of a cheeky cape fur seal around the boat. With the sun coming out we even got to enjoy some afternoon sun. With some happy cage divers we headed back to the harbour in some lovely sunshine.
