Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray + Cape fur seal
Summary: A breathtaking day on the water! The conditions were close to perfect, with clear water, blue skies and calm swell. Shortly after arriving on anchor the Bronze whaler sharks were seen in front of the cage and divers were soon in the cage to witness them up close. Consistent activity allowed all guests an opportunity to have an intimate sighting of these graceful sharks. The Short-tail stingray also made an appearance, with a playful Cape fur seal actively predating on fish around the cage. Today we had a successful detangling of a Bronze whaler shark, removing a significant length of fishing line from the dorsal! Thank you to all who joined us for today’s adventure onboard Slashfin!
