Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Broadnose sevengill shark + Cape fur seal
Summary: Today we set out from Kleinbaai Harbor under slightly swelly conditions and a chilly breeze in the air. Our divers suited up and prepared for the excitement ahead as the wait for shark sightings began. It wasn’t long before a Bronze whaler shark appeared, giving our first group of divers the green light to enter the cool Atlantic waters. A few Bronze whaler sharks, were spotted throughout our trip! The real highlight, however, was the incredible appearance of a prehistoric Broadnose sevengill shark, which made several visits, an unforgettable sight! Adding to the action, a Cape fur seal on the hunt stayed with us for most of the excursion, bringing even more energy and excitement to the day. Thanks to all divers and spectators for joining us today!
