Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingrays + Storm petrels

Summary: A wet and wild adventure for our guests today. Changing into wetsuits on land meant that divers were more than ready once we had reached our dive site to join the Bronze whaler sharks that were shortly with us. The individuals sighted were mature females, showcasing the larger size range of these sharks, with a sighting of the Short-tail stingray. Additional wildlife sightings included the abundant mullet schooling before the cage and some Wilson’s storm petrels flying within the chumline. Thank you to everyone who embraced adventure and joined us today!
