Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze Whaler sharks, Broadnose sevengill shark, Short-tail stingray + Cape fur seal

Summary: An adventurous departure from Kleinbaai Harbour, with higher swell but clearer skies. Arriving at the dive site, guests were treated to multiple wildlife sightings in front of the cage. First to arrive were the Bronze whaler sharks, larger mature individuals that were present in higher numbers throughout the trip. Other sightings included the prehistoric Broadnose sevengill shark and a brief glimpse of the Short-tail stingray. Curious Cape fur seals could also be seen, gracefully maneuvering between sharks. Thank you to everyone who joined us on board today, it was a pleasure sharing our wildlife with you!
