Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seals + Sunfish
Summary: A calm day in the bay, starting off with sightings of the Bronze whaler sharks. Individuals of various sizes were present around the boat, with the additional sighting of another elasmobranch, the Short-tail stingray. Some curious Cape fur seals were seen around the vessel, with one even predating on some fish around the cage. A rare sighting of a sunfish was one of the day’s highlights, not often seen around the diving vessels. For our second trip of the day we had amazing Bronze whaler sharks sightings! From juveniles to larger females from start to finish! Thank you to everyone who joined us today!
