Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Good

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Hammerhead shark, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seal, Broadnose sevengill shark + Bottlenose dolphins

Summary: A beautifully calm day on the water, with little wind and great visibility! The Bronze whaler sharks were abundant and active, along with their close relatives, the Short-tail stingray. On anchor, a playful Cape fur seal was spotted diving and investigating the surrounding waters, with the first trip even lucky enough to spot a rare Hammerhead shark cruising at the surface before encountering a pod of Bottlenose dolphins. And for the last trip off the day we also got lucky to see a Broadnose sevengill shark!  A fantastic day for sightings, thank you to all who shared it with us today!
