Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Cape fur seal, Short-tailed stingray
Summary: Another day was awaiting us within the Shallows. Even though the conditions out at sea were beautiful we started rather early due to the southeasterly wind picking up later in the day. Heading out of Kleinbaai Harbour we reached our dive site within 10 to 15 minutes. While our divers were busy getting into their wet suits our first visitors arrived. Bronze whaler sharks and Short-tailed stingrays were curiously surrounding the boat waiting patiently for our first divers to enter the cage. Our beloved Bronze whalers were active throughout the trips bringing great joy to our divers in the cage and on the boat. The Short-tailed stingrays each made a short appearance before submerging into the depth. Cape fur seals were as usual showing off leaving our guests in awe.
