After launching into a beautifully sunny morning we were in high spirits and had sharks on the mind. We had a nice selection of copper sharks today, with some excellent up close and personal action with our divers in the cage. We had a rather distinctive copper shark today that has been around for a while, pale in colour with 3 fairly large scratch marks behind the dorsal fin. A nice shark to observe as this one is quite active when around Slashfin. With the copper sharks enjoying the warm waters at the moment, it wasn’t long until the short-tail stingrays joined us on both of our trips.  We also had some nice sightings of cape cormorants gliding across the surface of the ocean this morning, a really stunning bird to see, demonstrating the diversity of wildlife available to us in this wonderful area.

Another stunning sunny and sharky day on Slashfin!
