13/02/2025

Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, African Penguins, Cape fur seals, Short-tail Stingrays + Brydes whales

Summary: A swelly yet incredible day on the water! We launched from Gansbaai Harbor and made our way around Danger Point, taking in the stunning scenery, African penguins, seabirds, and even Bryde’s whales! As soon as we anchored in the bay, the Bronze whaler sharks arrived, giving our adventurous divers the perfect chance to get in the cage. To top it off, we were lucky enough to encounter three different Short-tail Stingrays while on anchor!
