Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Moderate

Visibility: Poor

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks + Broadnose Sevengill shark

Summary: Today, we set off from Kleinbaai harbor with a bit of swell and overcast skies. Our first diver of the day was eager to see what exciting sightings awaited! It didn’t take long before the first Bronze Whaler shark arrived! Although visibility was a bit murky, we were fortunate to have a few sharks around. On the second trip of the day, we spotted a group of Humpback dolphins as we ventured out of the harbor. Our divers also had the incredible luck of encountering a prehistoric species, the Broadnose Sevengill shark, which came close to the cage! A big thank you to everyone who joined us today!
