Location: Joubertsdam

Temperature: 16.3°C + 16.7°C

Depth: 9 m + 9.2 m

Visibility: 0.5m + 1m

Conditions: a bit choppy but a beautiful warm day

We started our day under a slightly overcast sky but as soon as we reached the dive site, the sun came out and our divers were thrilled to start their shark cage diving experience. First copper shark arrived before anyone had a chance to change into their wetsuits. Our beautiful Bronzies were super active throughout the whole trip showing off their beautiful colours. Unfortunately, we had to get back to the harbour once everyone dived.

We left harbour once again for our last trip of the day. The wind was quite strong but the sun was shining and our guests couldn’t wait to see some beautiful sharks. Once we reached the dive location and attached our cage back to the boat,  copper sharks started to show up. Our divers were very excited and jumped into the cage as soon as they got their wetsuits. Sharks were extremely active showing us how agile and beautiful they are. No one felt left out with the sharks coming from all directions to investigate our cage. Once everyone got their time with beautiful Bronzies, we headed back to Kleinbaai to be welcomed back with some nice hot soup.
