Location: Gansbaai, South Africa

Dive site: Joubertsdam

Water temp: Warm

Visibility: Good

Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray + Indian Ocean humpback dolphins

Summary: A breathtaking day out on the water! Favourable conditions awaited us as we departed from Kleinbaai Harbour, arriving in the shallows to good visibility, blue skies and warmer waters. The shark activity was fantastic, with multiple mature individuals showing off their schooling behaviour in front of the cage. Guests were further surprised by 4 different Short-tail stingray individuals consistently gracing the waters in front of the cage. As we picked up anchor and followed the coastline back to the harbour, an endangered Indian Ocean Humpback dolphin was also sighted, topping off a beautiful day of wildlife!
