Water temp: Moderate
Visibility: Poor
Sightings: Bronze whaler sharks, Short-tail stingray, Cape fur seal & White chinned petrels
Summary: An early departure from Kleinbaai Harbour, we ventured into slightly choppy waters before reaching our dive site in the shallows. The first Bronze whaler shark arrived promptly and with some patience, the activity increased through the trip allowing exhilarating encounters with the animals. A Short-tail stingray, particularly distinctive due to a bite wound, and Cape fur seal joined the activity. Pelagic and coastal birds, such as the Storm petrels and White-chinned petrel soared around the vessel, really showing off the beautiful wildlife that can be encountered within our region. Thank you to everyone who joined us for todays adventure!
